Semianechoic Shielded Chamber SAC
The semi-anechoic shielded chamber (dimensions 8X6X5 m, Panashield manufacturing) is a metal structure completely coated, inside, with ferrites and other non-ionizing radiation absorbing material that makes it possible to carry out measurements of electromagnetic fields in a frequency range up to 18 GHz and is fully compliant with the Cispr 16-1-4 and EN 55016-1-4 standards. The anechoic shielded chamber is equipped with a 360-degree rotating platform and a pole that allows the scanning of the antenna up to 4 m high in an automatic way. The chamber is also equipped with EMI measurement receivers up to 44 GHz and signal generators to perform radiated immunity tests with fields up to 50 V m from 10 kHz to 18 GHz and partially up to 200 V m.
The following are the most important standards:
- EN 55016-2-3:Specification for radio disturbance and immunity measuring apparatus and methods – Part 2-3: Methods of measurement of disturbances and immunity – Radiated disturbance measurements
- EN 55011:Industrial, scientific and medical equipment – Radio-frequency disturbance characteristics – Limits and methods of measurement
