Weighing Instruments Approval
The CE-M certification, by the Ufficio Metrico of Livorno , certifies that the approval of weighing instruments has successfully passed all the tests and verifications provided for by the relevant Ministerial Decrees and is endowed with EC-TYPE APPROVAL CERTIFICATE that validates its suitability for legal use.
The approval is necessary for the use of the scale in commercial activities. An approved weighing instrument is easily recognisable thanks to the mark affixed to it.
The laboratory has the appropriate equipment and is kept under constant calibration, to perform the tests and checks required to obtain the certificate of approval.
